ZYBAN BIRTH DEFECTS

Zyban, a drug that is suppose to help a person stop smoking, has been linked to heart defects suffered by some babies. Sometimes pregnant women, seeking help to stop smoking, take Zyban during their pregnancy. These mothers likely have no idea that Zyban can cause their unborne baby to suffer from a serious heart defect. If you were on Zyban when you were pregant and your baby has a heart defect, you and your child may have a significant claim. To protect your rights contact a Zyban injury attorney. Solberg, Stewart, Miller and Tjon are investigating Zyban cases. Call the Solberg law firm at 1.877.237.3166 (toll free) or contact mmiller@solberglaw.com. At Solberg, Stewart, Miller and Tjon initial consultations are always free and if you make no recovery you pay nothing.

Ortho Evra birth control patch--Settlements

Johnson and Johnson has paid over $60 million in settlements to women who suffered blood clots, a heart attack or a stroke while using their Ortho Evra birth control patch. Despite these settlements and the potential for these serious injuries, the Ortho Evra patch is still on the market making Johnson and Johnson millions of dollars.
For the past couple of years the FDA has conducted a safety review of the Ortho Evra patch, but has not decided if the patch should be removed from the market. This, despite the fact, that the Ortho Evra patch exposes women to more than 50% more estrogen as compared to the traditional birth control pills.
Recently an NBC News report indicated that NBC News had obtained private internal documents from Johnson and Johnson which suggest that the company knew about an increased risk of death in connection with using the Ortho Evra birth control patch, but put women in danger anyway.
If you or a loved one suffered blood clots, a heart attack or stroke while using an Ortho Evra patch, you should contact an Ortho Evra injury attorney because you may have a significant claim. The Solberg, Stewart, Miller and Tjon law firm can be contacted at 1.877.237.3166 (toll free) or 237.3166 in Fargo, North Dakota or Minnesota. ACCUTANE and Crohn's Disease and Colitis

On Sunday, Sept. 4, there was a very good article in the FARGO FORUM in regard to crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I encourage anyone with bowel problems to read the article. The FARGO FORUM article discusses bowel diseases and symptoms, causation and treatment. The FARGO FORUM article did not mention that crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis can be caused by ACCUTANE. If you have a bowel disease and were on ACCUTANE, you could have a subtantial claim. So far there have been 7 jury verdicts in favor of people who were on ACCUTANE and subsequently were diagnosed with crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. All verdicts were over $1 MILLION. The most recent verdict was for $25,000,000! TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, there are STRICT time deadlines for bringing such cases and if you miss a deadline you can never bring your case. If you have crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, immediately call an ACCUTANE LAWYER. At Solberg, Stewart, Miller and Tjon, intial consultations are always free and if we take your case we do so on a contingency fee basis so if there is no recovery, you pay nothing. Fen Phen Surgery Attorneys

If you or a loved one submitted a "green" form as part of a fen phen settlement and later your heart valve damage got worse and you had to have "surgery" or if your loved one had heart surgery or died because of damage to the heart, you might be entitled to $100,000 or more as compensation for the worsening of you or your loved one's fen phen heart damage. If you or your loved one had heart surgery after the fen phen settlement, or died from heart failure, you should immediately contact a fen phen attorney to see if you are entitled to compensation. Time is of the essence. There are strict time deadlines for bringing such claims and if you miss a deadline you can never bring the fen phen claim. Most attorneys charge nothing for the evaluation of your fen phen claim and generally there are no attorney fees or costs unless you receive compensation for you or your loved one's fen phen injury or death.
