Fargo Avandia Attorney

More than 6 million people worldwide have taken the drug Avandia and studies have revealed a 43 % higher risk of heart attack, according to the review published by the New England Journal of Medicine. There has also been evidence that Avandia users have a 64% increased risk of dying from cardiovascular causes while taking the drug.

Avandia is used to treat Type 2 diabetes, the most common form of the disease. This form of diabetes occurs when the body does not make enough insulin or cannot effectively use what it manages to produce.

The Food and Drug Administration urged diabetics taking the pill to talk to their doctors. Do not quit taking Avandia on your own, but discuss any concerns that you may have with your doctor immediately!

If you experience any chest pain, swelling of the extremities, weight fluctuations, or difficulty breathing, contact your doctor immediately! Other side effects that could concern you are dizziness, headaches, accelerated heart rate, weakness, sweating and fatigue.

If you or someone you love took Avandia and have had a heart attack or any other heart/cardiovascular problems or died while taking Avandia, you may be entitled to financial compensation for your situation.
