ACCUTANE and Crohn's Disease and Colitis

On Sunday, Sept. 4, there was a very good article in the FARGO FORUM in regard to crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I encourage anyone with bowel problems to read the article. The FARGO FORUM article discusses bowel diseases and symptoms, causation and treatment. The FARGO FORUM article did not mention that crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis can be caused by ACCUTANE. If you have a bowel disease and were on ACCUTANE, you could have a subtantial claim. So far there have been 7 jury verdicts in favor of people who were on ACCUTANE and subsequently were diagnosed with crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. All verdicts were over $1 MILLION. The most recent verdict was for $25,000,000! TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, there are STRICT time deadlines for bringing such cases and if you miss a deadline you can never bring your case. If you have crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, immediately call an ACCUTANE LAWYER. Poli-Grip and Fixodent Zinc Poisoning

DENTURE CREAM MAY CAUSE ZINC POISONING

Over 30 million people wear dentures in the United States. Apparently, several types of denture cream products, including POLI-GRIP and FIXODENT, may pose a hazard to denture wearers. Denture cream containing zinc may create a copper deficiency in a person's body. If a denture wearer is suffering from unexplained weakness, numbness, loss of sensation or other nerve symptoms, or has been diagnosed with a condition called neuropathy, denture cream zinc may be the cause of the symptoms and health problems. Blood tests can determine whether a denture wearer with nerve problems has a zinc overdose.

Studies indicate that zinc poisoning or zinc overdose may result from the use of denture creams which contain zinc, including POLI-GRIP and FIXODENT. A recent study of zinc overdose, reported in the Journal “Neurology,” found that denture cream contains zinc, and chronic excessive use may result in copper deficiency and neurological disease. Apparently, stopping the use of denture cream with zinc results in improvement in most patients, but in some patients the relief was only mild.

Contact a Fargo denture cream attorney for information in regard to your legal rights.
